The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission is a division of the  Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism and is one of four state agencies that shares proceeds from the Amendment 75 1/8-cent Conservation Tax. Our 1% of the 1/8-cent tax provides an annual budget of about $869,000. The commission consists of nine members appointed by the governor. The executive director and a two-person staff manage our operations. Keep Arkansas Beautiful is a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful Inc.

The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission and staff work with educators around the state to teach Arkansas children the importance of a clean, green and beautiful Arkansas. We strive to inspire and encourage children and adults in Arkansas to do their part to help keep Arkansas beautiful.
